Second-wave feminism refers to a time of feminist activity, which began in 1960s in America and spread in the entire Western world. Second-wave feminism broadened debate to wide ranges of sexuality, workplace, family, de facto inequalities, reproductive rights altogether with official legal inequalities. On the other hand, post-feminism refers to a reaction against perceived contradictions as well as absences of the second-wave feminism. Post-feminism connotes that feminism is successful in ameliorating sexism alongside rendering it fundamentally opposed in broadening of feminist struggles in the third-wave feminism. Relevancy refers to a condition of being connected with the matter at hand. Agency refers to an establishment doing business for each other. It can be suggested that post-feminism introduced an agency concept to the second-wave feminism since it came to add to what second- wave feminism missed. Relevancy of post-feminism is clear since it came to connote feminism as a tool of ameliorating sexism that had previously been discussed by second-wave feminism. Social sitcoms refer to a television genre of situational comedy describing people in similar situations in all episodes. In this case, there is mobilizing of stereotypes in television episodes. Mobilizing stereotypes refers to using things that reflect ideas held by groups that are different from the same. Satire refers to a way of using humor in order to show that an individual or even something is foolish. Aspects of quality comedy in television refer to elements that enable television comedies to appear appealing and relevant to their themes. Social sitcoms, satire altogether with mobilization of stereotypes are aspects of quality comedy. Shrek is a good example of a movie that uses satire as an aspect of quality comedy. In this movie, the main character travels on his friend who is a donkey. It is satirizing since most knights seem use horses, although Shrek uses a donkey. This is both humorous and criticizing.

Intertextuality refers to the interdependent ways whereby texts seem relative to each other in order to produce meaning. Extratextuality refers to the concept of having parts of a text that precede and follow a particular passage, offering it a meaning in a more identifiable way than when it was read alone. Slumpy class refers to a group of socially liberal and urban-minded professionals. The Slumpy class has been associated with the gay-themed television of the 1990s. Narrowcasting refers to an act of transmitting programs that are confined to the interests of particular groups of subscribers, listeners or viewers. An example is a film Will and Grace, which is an example of a narrowcasting that illustrated the Slumpy class in the 1990s. Intertextuality has been used in that homosexuality has been used to indicate fiscally conservative and liberal groups. Intertextuality has been used to expound on Slumpy class in the gay television.

Subjectivity refers to the way a persons’ judgments can be shaped by their personal opinions altogether by personal feelings rather than external influences. Moral ambiguity refers to a situation where there is a lack of clear-cut wrongs or rights making it a complex situation. Emotional realism refers to a condition of creating feelings in certain settings, especially in cinema. Emotional realism emerges from identity and desire. All these are aspects of quality television drama or elements of enhancing the quality in television drama. A good example of a movie that uses subjectivity, emotional realism, and moral ambiguity, is Leave Her to Heaven of 1945. The film depicts emotional realism in women. They think of engaging in any activities in order to spend time with their men. In the movie, most women miss their men at home and feel that they can do anything in order to spend time with them. The movie uses aspects of quality television drama in order to make the scenes thrilling.

A cultural artifact refers to an old thing developed by a group of people that lived in history. In this case, the cultural artifact tries to unravel cultural details of people. Industrial product refers to items or services produced within a certain industry. Creative endeavor refers to innovativeness and creativity in efforts within a certain activity or performance. Excessive style refers to acute hypersensitivity as well as an obsession with effects in digital imaging and manipulation. Tim and Eric: Awesome Show, Great Job is an example of a comedy block that operates within excessive style version. The film employs disorienting narrative and formal cultural artifacts in order to create an atmosphere of surreal, self-aware camp at avant-garde. The film has been described as “the nightmare version of television.” A cultural artifact is an industrial product in the film industry used to bring out the idea of excessive style in a film.

Post-network refers to a transition of television networks’ expansion from a dominance of big networks to even more networks that involve other channels. This enhances the diversity of programming altogether with a less constraint of viewer’s location, medium or time. Netlet refers to a network that enhances secure access to the fixed port applications available on the world’s intranet. Niche marketing involves concentrating all efforts in the market on a restricted and specific segment of a population. This has been overthrown by Netlet through post-network systems. Representation of race refers to the way different races are presented in works of art. Gender and sexuality refer to concepts of sexual orientation and identity of their gender as either male or female. Netlet has played a big role in enhancing post-network policies and has enhanced diversification of networks. Post-network systems have enabled more clear ideas in gender and sexuality. A good example of a movie in this setting is Rabbit-Proof Fence of 2002 that brings out three aboriginal ladies escaping after they were plucked from homes to acquire training. They were to be trained to be domestic subordinates and were set off on treks across an outback.
